Deuce Ross II '26 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coaches, 

I am Deuce Ross (OPP.OH, S), class of 2026 at Cary Academy in North Carolina (#1 private high school in North Carolina). I am a NTDP Accelerator player. I have played club volleyball since sixth grade for at a national level since seventh grade. During this time, my club teams received a total of three national bids where we made history for being the first 14s teams in the North Carolina region to get a bid to a national tournament. Currently, my 16s club team is ranked 4th in the country, Triangle Volleyball 16 black. 

•      I also am an ambassador for high school boys' volleyball in the state of North Carolina in particular for the Raleigh area. My role has been to increase             the number of boys volleyball teams  from middle to high school, speak with local athletic directors, Board of Directors or sponsors, and host volleyball             skills training sessions year round to promote the sport. It is my hope to also share the sport through clinics with more minority communities as an                    alternative to traditional sports. 
•     Assistant Coach (varsity) at Cary Academy (3 years)
•     I officiate high school volleyball games (R1 & R2 DF# 23-5052-5630)
•    January 2023, I started the first boys' volleyball team in the Triangle Area at my school. My high school position is playing all around. My school hosted the       first official high school boys' volleyball match in the Triangle Area. This event was captured by ABC 11 News in the Raleigh-Triangle area (check out the          press release video). During the news interview, I spoke about the process of initiating the school's boys' volleyball team and its impact for schools. In my        spare time, I officiate high school girls volleyball games (certified with a license#). Additionally, I handcraft blankets to sell in an annual market place or             donate to those in need. My academic background is very solid with my favorite subjects math and science.
