Ian Fonseca '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Ian Fonseca.  I'm a 6'2", 167lbs 17 y/o puertorican Middle Hitter/Blocker; although I can also play Right Side if need be. As for school athletics, I'm in 12th grade and have been representing my school Sagrado Corazon in Ponce for around 9 years. But only recently, about 4 years ago, is when I really started taking it seriously and training to be as good of a player as I believe I can be. Clubwise, I've started playing for the Lions Volleyball School. I previously played for the Ponce Pumas for those 4 years and have gotten multiple achievements but my greatest one was being able to represent my club and Island by competing at the AAU national tournament in Orlando, FL. My goal is to be able to play at an abroad university in the States while still being able to study to get a Mechanical Engineering degree. I'm not yet sure where I wanna go from there, but I'll get there.
