I am a person who tries to do his best in everything. In school I try to earn all A's while taking almost all advanced-level classes. (At the end of my junior year my cumulative GPA is 3.957.) I try to treat everyone with kindness and I try to be honest. In volleyball, I am always working to improve myself and my game play as there is always something to learn. This has led me to where I am right now--a senior planning to study engineering where I can also play volleyball! I have a volleyball family. My mom and dad met playing volleyball, and my older siblings also played high school and club volleyball. My dad has coached at school for 6 years and assisted in club. I started playing volleyball in 6th grade. In 7th grade I started into club volleyball as a middle, and I've exclusively played middle my entire career until club season junior year when sometimes I started at middle and other times at right side. When people ask me which I prefer, I don't have a preference. I will play wherever my coach wants me to play and wherever I can contribute the most to help my team win. I just want to play! It has been fun to be able to hit and block anywhere along the net, and the addition of playing right side has made me a more versatile player. I am competitive, kind, intelligent, and hard-working; and I hope that I find a coach who values those qualities and wants me for his team! This past summer I enjoyed my high performance camps, and I was named as an alternate on the Badger Region High Performance All Star Team which took first in Tulsa! It has been a great experience!
