Dominic Coello '18 Recruiting Profile

My name is Dominic Coello and I am currently a Senior at Catholic Memorial High School in Waukesha, Wisconsin.  I have been playing volleyball for 7 years, starting in Fifth Grade at Holy Apostles Grade School.  My experience has been on school and club teams.  This year, I started on Varsity and we won our Conference, and a D1 state championship, as I started over 2 seniors of the 8 seniors on the team. I will be one of 4 seniors this year as we will compete for another run for a second state championship. 

Currently, I am a two sport athlete as I play baseball for Catholic Memorial as well as on a select team in my area.  I have been involved in baseball since Second Grade.

I love the sport of volleyball for its camaraderie, strategy and for the ability to meet new people in the volleyball community.  Volleyball is great because no matter what your position, you need to have superior athleticism.   There are so many aspects, such as passing, serving and setting that can be practiced that never get old!

I believe that I would be an excellent collegiate volleyball athlete because I have never-ending energy.  I take pride in my ability to encourage my teammates to work hard and communicate to be the best team out there.

My goal is to graduate from Catholic Memorial with a 3.2 GPA.  Every day, I am working hard on my grades.

I am looking for a college that has outstanding academics, a supportive community and a great volleyball team.
