I would like to play water polo at the highest level possible, while also attending a school with the highest level of academics. In the pool and In the classroom, I am hard-working and because of that, I am successful. I am extremely committed to both academics and water polo. I take the highest level of courses at Trinity School. During school swim and water polo seasons, I attend six to ten practices a week. And during the spring, I just attend the six club practices. As the captain of all three of these teams, there is a large time commitment. Outside of the pool and the classroom, I am the Captain of one of the largest forensic teams at my school, Academic Quiz Bowl. I also serve on the board of the New York Parliamentary Debate League and attend debate tournaments regularly. Even with all of this, I am able to maintain nearly perfect grades and I have estimated that my GPA is around a 3.90, unweighted. Because of the rigor of my high school (6th in the country), they do not calculate it for me. I was also able to score 1560 on the SAT. For these reasons, I think that my work ethic and time management skills in and out of the pool are of value to any team.
