Molly Stewart '17 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Molly Stewart and I am about to be a junior at Straughn High School (Class 4A) in Andalusia, AL. I have been in love with the game of softball ever since I began playing when I was four. I would like nothing more than to continue to pursue softball after high school at the highest competitive level possible for me. I want to find a college I am a good fit for, and that will be able to help me advance my talents even further. I am the primary shortstop for my high school team and have been since the seventh grade. I am also the primary shortstop for my travelball team, which I have been playing since I was ten. Even though I am a shortstop, I consider myself as a utility player. I also play center and second base. I have played on World Series teams, State Championship teams, District Championship teams, along with Regional and Conference Championship teams.                 

Not only do I strive for perfection on the softball field but in the classroom as well. I am currently number 7 in my class with a 3.96 GPA. I am open to considering schools of various sizes, geographic locations, and division levels.
