McKenzie Heard '20 Recruiting Profile

My collegiate goals for the next four years are to grow and mature into adulthood and to learn independence all while educating myself and meeting new people. I believe that I am a good candidate for teams because I exhibit strong leadership skills both on and off of the field. During my high school career, I maintained a straight A average while handling multiple extra-curricular activities including Softball, Percussion Section Leader in the band, juggling both high school level and college level courses all while working a part-time job. Younger individuals on the Softball Team and the Band looked to me as a mentor because I always took the time to assist them when they were struggling with their performance. I do not shy away from challenges or hard work so I believe I will be an asset to any team or group on which I participate.
