Personal Statement
Softball has been my life for 8 years. Going from one of the only girls in 10u Rec-ball that had never played softball before to becoming a stater on an 18u Travel Ball team at 14. Being at a disadvantage taught me quickly that results are not produced by waiting around. You have to practice to improve no matter what level you're at. This determination to push and work for my goals is the backbone of my hard earned 3.5 G.P.A with honors and AP classes all four years. The dream of being able to play college softball was well with giving up every single weekend of every summer playing the sport I love to earn that chance.
I am not one to doubt my abilities on an off the field. Confidence is the key is focusing on stealing that next base, hitting the ball into play and catching any ball that comes my way in he outfield. I am not naive to the fact that there is no such thing as perfection in this game. If I was to continue onto the Collegiate level I will have to remained determined to practice, listen and give 110% to help my team succeed as well as help myself become a better player every time I step on the field. This determination has pushed be to be the starting center field on the rebels 18u gold team, Varsity Captain of the Girl's Track & Field Sprints, and Cello Co-Section Leader of the in the Poly High School Orchestra.
