Hi my name is Riley Van Patten. I am a junior at Central High School East Campus in Fresno, CA. I have a 4.0 GPA and I have been the starting varsity 3rd baseman for my high school since I was a freshman.
I have been playing softball since I was 6 years old and have been playing competitive since I was 8 years old. Some of the coaches I had would tell me that my knowledge for the game was some of the best that they have ever seen. I take pride in continuing to learn as much as I can, and improving my abilities. As a player I always strive to be a leader on the field with a positive attitude, and maximum effort. In college I want to major in Sports Medicine with the intent of becoming an Athletic Trainer, and I also want to study Journalism: Advertising, to be a Sports Broadcaster.
