Hi, my name is Kadyn Sanchez and I play for Corona Angels Slye 16u. I am a pitcher and utility player and I hit and throw from the right side. I am highly competitive, hard working player, and thrive under high pressure situations. Also, I love being a supportive teammate whether I am on the field or in the dugout, always cheering my teammates on and trying to help our team win. Currently, I attend Santa Clara High School in Oxnard, CA and am a starter on the varsity softball team and varsity basketball team. Since I was 5 years old, I have been playing softball and have always aspired to play college softball and demonstrate my dedication and skills by helping my team succeed in whatever role asked of me. In my freshman season I was named team captain of the varsity softball team and earned Tri-Valley League MVP as well as all CIF-SS and 2nd team All County. Academically, I was the Salutatorian of my middle school in 2022 and in my sophomore year have maintained a 4.67 GPA while taking honors, AP courses and dual collegiate enrollment classes. In addition, I had a lead role in my school's drama production of Holiday Inn in the fall of 2022, our spring 2023 production High School Musical 2 and our fall 2023 production of Mary Poppins and am currently working on our spring 2024 production of In the Heights. I have a strong work ethic in the classroom and on the field, and can be an asset to a strong collegiate softball program with an excellent academic focus.
