Hi my name is Abigail Tripp and I am in the graduating class of 2024. One of my collegiate goals is to be able to play softball in college. My academic aspiration is to be a pediatric sports medicine physician and work in the medical field. I think what makes me a good candidate for a college softball team is that I am a leader on the field and I am able to effectively communicate with my teammates. My work ethic is that I have to train hard and be disciplined in order to succeed at the higher level. I have been successful in my softball career so far and one of the things that makes me who I am is that I have never forgotten that it takes hard work and dedication and that I need to be humble and thankful for the opportunities that I have been given. I work as hard off the field as I do on the field. I have learned to balance my studies with other aspects of my life and made the honor roll each semester.

- I have been taking batting lessons since I was 9 years old. Currently I am batting with Kristen Gensler. I have had batting lessons with Stan Haskell, Sara Hayes-Powerline Athletics and Matthew Mauga-Corona Angels- Mauga.
- Conditioning
- 1 year
- I attend conditioning at the EM Speed and Power Facility in San Diego, CA. 2 times a week. My trainer Brandon works on my agility, cardiovascular strength, and on my strength training.
- Catching lessons and clinics
- 3 years
- Currently I am taking catching lessons from Audrey who is a former D1 catcher and currently the head coach at Oceanside High School. I have attended catching clinics and lessons with Sara Hayes to work on my craft as a catcher.

- I work on my catching skills on my own each day working on my pop time, blocking, and throwing. I also do 75 towel drills each day to strengthen my throws and the proper mechanics of throwing.
