Violette Tuma '25 Recruiting Profile

Dear Coaches,

My name is Violette and I'm 16 yars old. I have been playing softball since I was 6 years old. My family is big on sports and besides ball I love skiing, skating, riding ATV, mountainbiking, running and hiking. Curently, I play travel ball for Corona Angels on Tyson/Sly 18U team. I'm an athletic, fast outfielder and lefty slapper. I'm continuously working on improving. I use my strong voice and energy on the field and in the dugout to help my team get pumped up. I put my team first and I play for my sisters, always. 

I'm a junior at Great Oak High School and I made the varsity softball team as a freshman. I play CF. Our Head Coach is Fernando Ornales. Last year our team won the CIF SS Div. II championship.

In the future I would like to enter biomed. engineering field. (I would like to participate in designing of prosthetics, med./surg. tools etc.) I'm taking various engineering and science classes (including AP classes) based on my selected major. I hope to earn scholarship to a school supporting my major so I can one day give back to the community and work on something realy meaningful.
