Angelina Orellana '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Angelina Orellana and I am from Vallejo, CA. I have been playing softball since I was 6 and started travel ball when I was 8, softball is my life. When I was 3 I told my parents I wanted to go to USC, now that I am older I realize that I am most comfortable in a smaller school setting. I’ve always dreamed of playing softball at the college level and I am tremendously thankful for my parents who have made so many sacrifices so that I can play a sport that I love and they continue to support me with my life decisions.
I’ve played all positions on the field but I’ve focused my efforts on pitching since I was 12. I’ve been able to develop myself as a “movement” pitcher and I have a few pitches that I am extremely proud of and can throw on demand. I’ve pitched for PGF berths/qualifiers, high school league championships and tournament championships and my coaches have come to depend on me to finish games.  I am extremely humble on and off the field. I would love to give back to my community one day and teach girls how to be successful student athletes.
