Personal Statement

My name in Makenzie Middleton, and I am 16 years old. I am a Junior at Golden High School in Colorado and will graduate in 2020. I started playing when I was 8 years old. I loved the game so much that I could not wait for the next game or the next season.  I worked really hard and began playing competitive softball when I was 12. I value sports very much and believe that it teaches you many lessons that you will use throughout your life.  My desire to improve comes with hard work and determination.  I am always thinking of ways to improve as a player and teammate. I believe that instilling positive vibes will create a better team atmosphere. I have played several different sports in my life, and I believe they make you disciplined and organized. My skills from the softball field roll over to my academics in which I have a 4.0 GPA.  I work very hard on my education and it has proved positive.  I volunteer for a group called Ducks Unlimited, whose mission is to promote the conservation of birds and their habitats.  I am really excited and am looking forward to continuing to play ball at the collegiate level.  My goals in the upcoming year are to go to as many camps as I can fit into my schedule.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
