My ultimate goal is to obtain a college degree while playing college softball at the highest level. I just completed my sophomore season finishing with a .515 BA while batting third in the lineup and I caught every inning of every game while being responsible for calling pitches. I earned ALL-NEPSAC this year, 2x ALL-Western New England, and was a 3x invite to the league all star game in which I started both freshman and sophomore year. In addition, going into my Junior season, I was voted as a team captain. I hope to be viewed as a good recruit based on two factors, first, my pride in defense. I work consistently on improving my all-around catching skills but constantly work on my defensive skills at 1B and feel that either could be a primary position for me and flexibility for potential schools. Second, while I have been mostly a clean-up hitter and have the ability to hit home runs I do so with a focus on good swing mechanics and take pride in consistently hitting in the .460 avg area against top competition. I currently play club softball for the Connecticut Charmers 18u Gold/Russ Senerchia team that has exposed me to playing in the best tournaments against top competition while getting elite coaching. As a boarding student at Westminster I am being tremendously challenged academically, I am playing for an experienced softball coach, and am already exposed to similarities of college life. Last, I have been a two-sport varsity athlete and juggle music band in my daily routine, and hope that I am viewed as a well rounded individual versus other recruits. I aspire to find the right school academically, the right school athletically, where I will play and be a team contributor to help the program be successful.
