Hi, my name is Ava Metz and I am a left-handed catcher. I know there are a lot of coaches who think the idea of lefty catchers are not the best idea...i'm here to prove them wrong, respectfully. I strive to be a part of a softball team where I can contribute my skill set to become a better softball player while helping my team giving my 150%. While I take pride of my work ethic on and off the field, my academic goal is to become a nurse after college. Ever since COVID-19 I have seen all of the help nurses have given to the world and I would love to do the same and do my part in helping the world become 1 percent better.
Thank you for checking out my bio, hope to hear from you soon!
