March 2016Personal Statement
My name is Alivia Phelps. I am a 16 year old entering into my Senior year at Coal City High School. My goal is to continue my softball career at a college that is going to fit my academic needs. Whether the college be small or large, I have worked very hard athletically and academically to continue to reach my goals.
I have worked very hard for the past 6 years to develop the current pitches I have (fastball, screwball, riseball, curveball & change up). My fastball has been clocked at 61 consistently. I have also been recorded with a 21 spin rotation. My secondary position is 1st base. I typically hit in the 3, 4, or 5 slot.
I am hoping to extend my playing days into my college career and am looking forward to achieving my goals!
