Personal Statement
I began playing travel softball at the age of 10 and quickly discovered a love for the game. Through both school and travel I have had the opportunity to develop my mental and physical game which has fueled my passion for the sport. I enjoy the struggles and successes on the field in addition to the camaraderie with my coaches and teammates. I see my team as part of my family and enjoy working together and inspiring one another daily.
I would like to be challenged academically and athletically where I can strive to excel through hard work, dedication and the help of my coaches, teachers and peers. I enjoy helping others succeed as well. I have assisted young catchers in the Naperville Diamonds softball organization by teaching them the workings of the position. Off the field I am a member of my high school’s Leadership Club and have been nominated by my teachers to mentor incoming freshman. I look forward to continuing to work with my peers throughout high school and college.
