Personal Statement
Coaches,
At the age of seven, I fell in love with Softball. For me, playing at the next level isn't about the bragging rights or satisfying my family, it's being able to continue doing what I love. Every game, every practice, and every conditioning session is better than the last, because I learn something new every time I step foot into a cage or onto a field, and that is what it's all about for me. There is no better feeling than attending those team dinners, and cheering on your teammates after an amazing play, or even picking one another up after a bad one. You build a bond, a sisterhood, and the possibility of ending my career at 18, breaks my heart, because the unity, the competition, the excitement is what I live for, and have for nearly ten years. As a recruit, I don't want to commit to just any school, I am looking for a bond, a close knit, hard working group of girls who just simply love this game, and a coaching staff that will push me to my limits. I will support my teammates on and off the field, as well as support and encourage myself in the classroom, but all I am looking for, is a place to continue playing the game that I love, while learning the skills necessary for me to become a doctor.
Best wishes and regards
