Ava Twilley '26 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5'10” pitcher and utility player from Salisbury, Maryland. I graduate in the year 2026 and I aspire to play softball at a highly competitive collegiate level, and I understand the dedication required as you can see throughout my profile summary.  Softball has been a big part of my life, and it’s made me into the person I am today. I love softball because I meet amazing new people on each journey and they push me to do better, without them I would not be where I am today.

In addition to softball, academics are also of high importance to me. I want to attend a college that will challenge me academically as well as one that helps me down a path to pursue a promising career. The mechanical engineering field really interests me. Furthermore, financial need will play a large role in what college I attend. I am willing to travel further distances depending on the expense. In high school, I am enrolled in honors and advanced classes with a 4.4 GPA and maintain straight A's. School has taught me important lessons that can also be applied to softball, such as working hard, helping others, and being mentally tough. In both school and softball, I am highly competitive to be at the top of my class and level of skill. I am not only a strong academic candidate but also a multiple sport athlete who is highly coachable, competitive, and a team player, that will no doubt add value to your school.
