Personal Statement
I want to go to college and earn my get my undergrad degree in pre-med. I then want to get my grad degree in orthopedics. My overall goal is to become an orthopedic specialist and/or a physical therapist for athletes. I would be a good candidate for teams because I have a background in softball, I'm considered a people person, and I adapt to change easily. I began playing softball at a very young age, assisting with my sister's teams before I was old enough to begin t-ball at the age of six , and, since then, I have consistently played softball every year. In addition to playing softball, I also have played a variety of sports during off seasons. Playing for so many different teams has allowed me the chance to work and adapt to become compatible with and interact with different types of people and personalities. In addition to athletics, I have a great love for music, I indulge in literature, and I thrive in academics. I play the guitar, violin, lyre, and harp and, more oft than not, I fill my free time with reading a good book. Throughout my academic career, I have consecutively made the honor role, and my GPA has never dropped below a 3.2. I take constructive criticism well because I am devoted to learning to be better - to be my best. I am focused, competent, and driven.
