Samantha Schneider '26 Recruiting Profile

My name is Samantha Schneider and I am fortunate enough to get to go to school and play softball. Last club ball season I got the opportunity to play for the South West Missouri Bombers and finished the season with a batting average of .459. I now play for the Missouri Aces softball team and have my goals set high for this coming season.  My favorite part of playing softball is connecting with my teammates and seeing everyone of us grow through our skills and adversities through the season. I have a positive attitude and a work ethic that pushes myself and the others around me to play on another level, but also academically. My GPA is a 4.0 for my freshman and sophomore years of highschool. I have had the opportunity to learn from many talented players, coaches, and teammates the past 6 years of playing every person showing me something new or to improve upon. Being a three sport athlete I try to soak up as much knowledge of each and to apply the game philosophies to my everyday life. My hitting coach is one person I truly admire and look up to because of the knowledge he possesses and the time he takes to teach me not only about softball, but life as well. I plan to go to a college that has my best interests for academics and my future career, as well as a softball program.
