My name is Hannah Burnett, and I have played the beautiful sport of softball for two years. I began playing during my freshman year at the Charles Finney School. I immediately fell in love with the sport and knew I wanted to play at the collegiate level. I find so much joy and excitement in this game, and I would love for this joy to continue through my collegiate years. I became captain of the modified/JV team my first year, as well as a primary starter in Right field and substitute for first base throughout the season. This year, I became another primary starter in center field. Even though I have not been playing for a long time, I continually study the sport, practice, and play as much as I possibly can on and off-season. Academically, for the last two school years, I have been on Honor Roll and have won an ACSI Excellence Achievement award as well as class excellence awards. Ever since I was young, I have been acknowledged for my leadership skills, grit, encouragement, and ambition. I believe strongly in never giving up and I have no plan to in this sport. This is what I believe I can bring to any softball team out there.
