Ginger Savelkoul '24 Recruiting Profile

Hi coaches, my name is Ginger Savelkoul. I am a 2024 graduate. I am primarily a RHP and I also play 1st base. I live in Lansford, North Dakota and go to MLS high school. I play travel ball for 18u Catalyst National MN and I am a varsity starter on my high school team. In my off time I train with a private hitting and pitching coach. When I am on the field I like to lead by example and play with a lot of positive energy that my teammates can feed off of. Pitching is my favorite position because it comes with a lot of responsibility and although it is extremely challenging it is also very rewarding. My favorite pitch to throw is a riseball and my go to pitch is a two-seam fastball.  In 2021,2022,and 2023 I made the All Region Team  along with the  All State team. Academics are just as important as athletics to me. Currently I have a 3.97 GPA and plan on majoring in Physical Therapy.  I also play volleyball, where I have been on the varsity team every year of my high school career. In my free time I enjoy playing with my dogs, traveling with my family, and hanging out with my friends. Softball is my safe space where I can take a break from all of life's problems. I am very passionate about softball and am always looking to learn and grow into a better player. Thank you for taking the time to view my profile.
