My name is Taylor Hopkins. I am from Hilliard, Ohio, which is about 15 minutes from downtown Columbus. I am the starting short stop for my High School team and the starting second for my travel team. I love playing middle infield and outfield, but I know how to play all positions. I've been playing softball for 11 years, and I've been playing travel for 7 of those years. I've been dreaming to go to college on a softball scholarship ever since I started playing travel softball. Softball has been my main sport, 8th grade year I was one of the top wrestlers at my school though. As of high school I have decided to focus on softball because it is my real dream. I believe my attitude and grit have helped me to be successful today, on and off the field. In my free time I enjoy going to school and spending time with my family. I think the best trait about me is I value getting better. I am always trying to figure out a way I could improve, even when I succeed because there is always room to grow.
