Kaylee Keck '20 Recruiting Profile

    I am very passionate about softball because when I step onto the field my fear goes away, everything leaves my mind, and I have no worries. Softball isn't the only sport I play but it is by far my favorite.  I also play basketball, my positions in basketball are post and guard.  Basketball has helped me a lot in softball these past few years with foot work and hand eye coordination.  I have been on the principals honor roll for two years straight.  Every summer I volunteer at the First Baptist Church in Altus, OK during our annual Vacation Bible School.  During my high school years I hope to be a great roll model for the younger kids in my school.  I also hope to finish in the top 4 in my class.  After high school I hope to attend college and finish with a high degree.  After college I hope to become a Physical Therapist.  Some strong personal character traits I have are being able to adjust to any environment quickly.  I feel like I am very outgoing and can make friends very easy.  I''m not afraid to speak my mind when someone needs to speak up, I'm usually the one to do it.  I feel like I am a good team leader because when our team is down I feel like I know what to say and how to say it most of the time.  When our team is getting beat i try to be the loudest on the team to get everyone hyped up so we can hopefully have a rally and come back.  My philosophy in sports is to always be a tram player, help motivate the ones around me, always give 110% effort, stay focused, be a leader, and learn from my mistakes.
