Hi I'm Sheridan House, a Junior at Tarkington High School. My goals and aspirations for collegiate level softball is to show my God given talent, be a leader, show my love for the game, encourage my teammates to succeed, and importantly do my absolute best.  I have played my entire life and it has always been my sport, my safe place, and my favorite thing to do. 

My first year on Varsity, I was graciously awarded the "Goolsby Hustle Award", which is a special award to honor a student at Tarkington who sadly died in a car accident. Jerod Goolsby was known for his joy and love for the game, always wore a smile on his face. When his teamates were down, he lifted them up with a joy, because he played until the very end of the game. I was awarded this prestigous award for playing like him...tenacious! I strive to be the player that is a roll model to everyone. I believe my greatest achievement in softball is realizing my God who created my talent can help me through the game.  That different mindset has created me to be a better player. The same driving force on the softball field is the same in the classroom. I don't want to fail in the classroom so I work hard on the field. My GPA is a 4.8 out of 5.0. I take all honors classes to push myself to become a better person than I was yesterday. I will always give 110% on and off the field. Just like me, life is short...play hard.
