Tara Tackett '23 ...Personal Statement
I am a competitor and always strive to do my best. I work hard, but I think the one thing that sets me apart is that I am coachable. I am always willing to listen and try whatever I am told so that I can constantly improve my game.
I have always wanted to play college sports, and it would be awesome to fulfill my dream. Being a multi-sport athlete has taught me how to manage time and work hard. When it is volleyball season, I am still doing pitching and hitting lessons, and when it is softball season I still do volleyball training. I am working year round to better my skills and my abilities, not only for myself, but to help my teams be as successful as we can.
High school has been a blast so far. I am a Varsity starter for volleyball, basketball and softball. I have earned multiple honors for all sports at the district level. I was named an All-State Player for Volleyball. As I stated earlier, I love to compete, I love for my teams to be successful, and I will do what is asked of me.
