Kendall Penn '17 Recruiting Profile

I started softball when I was 8 years old and have loved it ever since.  I'm a versatile player, I've played middle infield, catcher, and outfield, wherever my team has needed me.  I strive to play hard, smart, and effectively as well as having fun while doing my best. As a captain on my travel team, I lead by example, I play hard and promote communication on the field. My drive, passion, and work ethic are what separate me from other players and help me stand out. .I've applied the same principles to my academics, I've maintained good grades all throughout my school years and currently have a 3.94 GPA. It is important for me to thrive not only in my sport but also in my school work. In college I hope to study either Public Relations/Communications or in Education. It is my goal to play at a college that not only benefits me for softball but also for my future career.
