Deanna Wild '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Deanna Wild, I play for Spaulding High School in Barre, Vermont. Softball has always been one of my biggest passions in life. The feeling of being on a softball field is a feeling incomparable to any other. I've had a softball in my hand since I could walk and I could never imagine myself not playing in college.

My biggest academic goal is to become a physical therapist. Everyone in my life could tell you that I am very hardworking and dedicated, I put one hundred and ten percent into everything I do. That being said there's no doubt in my mind that being on the softball field isn't where I want to be everyday. I play basketball and soccer as well, but softball has always had my whole heart. I was the starting third baseman on the Spaulding varsity softball team as a freshman, and have held that spot since. I play 8 out of the 9 positions on the field, primarily third base and catcher.
