My name is Kameron Sanders and I graduate with the class of 2024. I have been playing basketball since I was six years old and over the years I have discovered how much love I have for the sport. I really want to go to college to continue my basketball career as well as work to get my doctorate degree to become a physical therapist. I have aspirations to go as far as playing in the WNBA and/or playing overseas. I also understand how important academics are in the recruiting process as I make it a top priority to maintain good grades. So far throughout my high school career, I only have one B and currently have a 4.2 GPA. Along with basketball, I also participate in my schools’ band program as I’m the section leader for the drumline. Playing basketball and participating in the band program has allowed me to discover my strengths and weaknesses. I learned that I am a very coachable person and always have the open ear to any advice that will make me a better athlete, as well as a better person. I adapt to different coaching styles and different environments very well.
