Kendal Baranski '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Kendal Baranski and I am a 5'10" point guard at Paradise Valley Christian Preparatory. I have started on the PVCP High School varsity team for 2 out of my 4 years so far. I got All-State my freshman year and honorable mention this season. I have a 5.0 GPA and all A's in all honors classes. While I have played point guard mostly, I also play as a Power Forward. I have played basketball now for over 8 years. I am very versatile, and my coaches say my best quality is that I can play any position. I have strong ball handling skills with an ability to see the overall court. Another strong quality of mine is that I have been deemed very coachable. I am very attentive and a sponge for critique and training. I am a leader on the court and was the captain of our team this past year and throughout my years in middle school.

I am looking for an institution where I can pursue a career in medicine while pursuing my dream of playing basketball.Ideally, my athletic environment would be one where I could make an immediate impact on the team. I believe my best fit would be at the DII or NAIA level, although I will absolutely consider high academic DIII opportunities. I am not looking to be the star but to be part of a team that works well as a whole.
