My name is Leah Martinez and I am a 2024 shooting guard from Santa Rosa California. I have been playing basketball for as long as I can remember and it has truly come to shape me into the person I am today. Through this sport I have learned valuable leadership skills as well as what it takes to be a reliable teammate. Possessing these skills has been able to help me both on the court and in the classroom. My dedication to basketball is matched by my dedication to academics and my motivation to succeed in school. My hard work is reflected and can be observed in the grades I’ve received in high school. Altogether, I would describe myself as a player that is driven, hardworking, coachable, and motivated to keep improving in all aspects of the sport that I love.
