Personal Statement
I knew when i started playing basketball in middle school that it was going to be something i was going to love for the rest of my life. When i got to my freshman year i decided i wanted to play volleyball, basketball, and track and 4 years of highschool. At that i didnt quite know what was my favorite. As my seasons went by i grew to love basketball more than the rest but i had to finish what i started so i continued to play all three. I know i could have probably quit volleyball and track and got in to playing club ball but i grew up in a small school and we didnt have many people to play so i finished what i started. Going in to my senior year i have more heart than ever to get the best grades i can and still work my butt of to keep my varsity spot and double my stats and determination. Now most girls probably say that they want to play basketball in college but after playing 3 sports and rodeoing in the summer basketball is my number one! I will do anything a coach tells me, i will try my absolute hardest to get done what i need to get done. I am very social and get along with anyone, i dont worry about whether my fellow teammates are playing poorly that game i am there to keep pushing them through the game and encourage them when their not having the best day because i would hope that they would do the same for me. Growing up in a small town i have always been the biggest on my team. Now in the games i am not. I am tall but im not that big but i sure will dang play like im 6'3 and 200lbs. i have the heart of a big girl. I know my weaknesses but i am working on those more than anything else. I love the game of basketball and i understand practices are very serious and not time to mess around but i am always in a good mood and love to have fun and my kind of fun is playing basketball.
