Journey Handy '24 Recruiting Profile

Hey my name is Journey Handy class of 2024. I live in Delmar MD and have been playing basketball since the age of five because of my two big brothers who both play collegiate sports(one D3 football the other D2 basketball) and have not put down a ball since. My high school career started at Wicomco High School but unfortunately I missed my freshman year because of covid so this will be my third year of varsity ball. Played my 10th grade season and was the lead scorer on varsity averaging 10.7 ppg and 3 apg, then ended that season with a 21 point game lose in the playoffs. Then my junior year I transferred to Delmarva Christian Highschool purely for a better environment for academics and basketball, finished my junior season with 270 points averaging 13.7 ppg and 5 apg, highest scoring game was 26 points. Now in the off season ready to begin my senior year I have a 3.8 and I have managed a 3.5-4.0 through all highschool the school that I attended now is a college curriculum and I take yearbook, apologetics (Bible class), english 4 and calculus. Math is my favorite subject I have wanted to major in architectural engineering since sophomore year. I am prepared to work hard and I do work hard so I can go to a great school and play the sport I love.
