Personal Statement
I have always loved to play basketball, but my mom was the one who pushed me into playing the sport. My mom is the main reason for who I am today, she is always pushing me beyond my limits, expanding my thoughts about certain situations, and giving me advice after my games. My mother served in the military for 15 years, so listening and doing what she says on the first time is practiced in my household. Whenever I play basketball, have it be practicing or a game, I always want to give my very best and stay determined. When I walk out of the gym I want to feel like I achieved what I wanted to do and I am happy with how I played. As I finish my years in high school I want to continue to get A's in my classes and continue to take AP courses while pushing myself to do the best I can. In college I want to study engineering and after college I will decide if I want to join the military as an officer. As a player you have to listen to what your coaches have to say and I listen to my coaches constructive criticism and try to put what they say into play on and off the court.
