Monae Duffy '21 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coaches, 

The qualities I possess that set me apart from other recruits in terms of character, athletics, and academics Is my entire makeup. 

First and foremost, my collegiate goal is to excel both on and off the field. I am committed to pursuing a well-rounded education while giving my all to the sport I love. Academically, I have maintained a strong 4.0 GPA throughout junior college and have consistently challenged myself with rigorous coursework. I understand the importance of balancing academics and athletics, and I am confident that I can handle the demands of being a student-athlete. Presently, my 1st & 2nd year of college I have maintained remaining on the Deans List. 

As an athletics, I bring a unique set of skills and attributes to the table. As a player, I am highly dedicated, disciplined, and coachable. I am always striving to improve and push my limits, both physically and mentally. Whether it's putting in extra hours at the gym, studying game footage, or working on my technique, I am willing to go the extra mile to become the best athlete I can be. Furthermore, I am a team player who thrives in a collaborative environment. I understand the value of teamwork, communication, and supporting my teammates both on and off the field.

What truly sets me apart, is my character. I believe that my faith, integrity, resilience, and a strong work ethic, my high school team and I winning 3 State Championship, on the college level winning Region 6 our stats are 33-0, and on a National level winning overall 37-0 games. Essentially placing #1 in the NJCAA CHAMPIONSHIP tournament . I approach every challenge with a positive attitude, embracing the opportunity to learn and grow from setbacks. I am a natural leader who leads by example, inspiring and motivating those around me to strive for greatness. I am also known for my sportsmanship and respect for the game, treating opponents, coaches, and officials with the utmost respect.

My collegiate goals are centered around achieving excellence in both academics and athletics. I am confident that my dedication, discipline, teamwork, and character make me a standout candidate for any team. I am ready to contribute to the collective success of the program while representing my university with pride and integrity, that will lead me to be a # 1 draft by a scholars team in WNBA. 

 My mission statement is put God first and he got the rest!!!
