I've been playing basketball from the age of four. Playing basketball at the highest level has been a goal of mine, but also learning from the girls and coaches at the highest level has increased the want to play at a higher level.
I have the ability to shoot as well as playing strong physical defense and trying to get the ball at any time which includes diving for loose balls and trying to take charge every chance I can get. I also have a passion for learning more about basketball. I am a team leader who tries to help others and encourage others when they encounter difficulties, but also receives help from others if they see I am experiencing difficulties. I strive to always work hard and improve in as many ways as possible, but I also want to help the team improve.
In the classroom, I maintain a cumulative grade point average of 4.133 while obtaining my CPR, Patient Care Technician and First Responder certifications. As I enter the last year, I plan to expand this with obtaining my medical assistant certificate and take dual enrollment Biology, English, Mathematics, and Western civilization.
I want to go to a college that allows me to push myself to get a diploma in nursing and at the same time allow me to play basketball. I am open to all options and want to find the perfect college match to cater to me. I want to become a role model for my younger teammates and my younger sister and making my parents proud and showing them that all the long nights and hard work they have done for me has paid off.
