MacKenzie Murphy '23 Recruiting Profile

Hi my name is MacKenzie Murphy and I am from Dracut MA and ever sense I could remember sports have been such a big part of my life and I honestly do not know what I would do without them. I have played Varsity basketball for 3 years and AAU since the 5th grade. Along with playing basketball I play soccer and lacrosse and all these experiences have shaped me into the person I am today. When I ask my coaches what they think my biggest role on the team is they tell me I am reliable and that my IQ for the game is high. They tell me my strength is catch and shoot. But, most importantly they tell me they love how I practice I put all my energy into that practice and it helps bring the teams energy up. When I ask my teammates what they think about me they say I am a great teammate because even when I am not playing I am the loudest on the bench and the first to get up and congratulate them when they do something well. Along with basketball academics mean a lot to me I want to get the best education possible for my future and if I can do that while playing the sport I love it would be a dream come true!
