McKenna Clouse '19 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing basketball since I was in 2nd grade and have been on the high school team. My mom has always been a big part of the influence in my life. She makes me work to get better and improve on all my skills. In my community there is usually 3-4 youth basketball camps in a year and I help out in all of them, as well as helping out for traveling tryouts in my area. I helped coach a traveling basketball team this past year in 2016. I, also, assist in camps for my shooting coach with his teams. I have a 3.8 GPA and am currently taking 2 AP classes and 2 college level classes through Anoka Ramsey Community College. I am very passionate about achieving greatness in both basketball and my academics. This past year I overcame a huge hurdle as I had to undergo ankle surgery. I missed my whole sophomore season but came back for AAU season and played my best season to date. I am very much committed to playing basketball in college and to better my team in any way I can, I am very coachable and can take any direction from any coach and apply it in my game.

When I make a team, I have the dedication to make my team better. As a post I feel I don't always need to score, I like to get a lot of assists and help my teammates out by kicking the ball back out. Another thing that stands out for me is I set really good picks and can roll or pick and pop. Another thing about me is I like the challenge of playing defense and it is fun to do. I am very passionate on improving my skills and academics in college hopefully on your team.
