2023 SpotlightPersonal Statement
I started playing basketball my freshman year of high school and it's been an amazing experience. I was encouraged by coaches to give it a try because of my height (6'2) but I quickly discovered I had natural talent. I have developed into a great player but I know I will be an even better player with more practice and good coaching. I started on JV my freshman and sophomore years and started on varsity my junior year. I made the All SEMO Conference Team at the end of basketball season last year. I was the lead scorer, rebounder, and blocker for my high school team this past year. I have made several All Tournament Teams over the past 2 years including USJN summer tournaments. I'm excited for whatever lies ahead.
