I currently attend North Dakota State College of Science and am looking to transfer after this semester. I am a 5'2", 130 lb. athlete that always beats my teammates down the court. I enjoy a fast tempo style of ball. Basketball is a dominant part of my life and has been since I was in kindergarten. Whenever I have spare time, you will find me on the court shooting or working out in one way or another. I don't mind the hard work it takes on or off the court to keep improving. I've been on our school's varsity team since I was in the ninth grade and at the end of my junior year, reached 1000 career points. I've received all conference awards every year and I broke our school record for most points in the 2010-2011 basketball season as a senior. In the Summer of 2011 I was selected to play in the North Central All-Star game and received camp MVP. I also place 2nd in the three point contest. I work hard to include all of my teammates in the scoring column as I do my job as point guard. The past two years, I have been a part of an AAU team in the spring. Our team also stays active in the summer as we play on a league with our neighboring districts. Last summer, I couldn't get enough, and added another summer league to my weekly schedule. To say I love basketball would be an understatement. I dream to play in college as I work to discover what I will do with my life after school. I want to be an active member of my college team and play at the highest level possible. I am undecided at this time as to what college I want to attend and what my major will be. I want a career someday that keeps me active because I'm hardworking and don't like to sit still. I come from a family of seven, so I will be needing financial help to cover my college costs.
