Eva Yeadon '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Eva Yeadon. I attend Big Sandy High School and will be graduating in the class of 2025.  I am a dedicated student and view my success in my academics as important as I do my success in sports.

I am 5'9" I play point guard, shooting guard, small forward, as well as some power forward for my High School team.  One of my greatest strengths on the basketball court is creating a fast pace in transition. I love to rebound, and I love to move the ball, I find excitement in the opportunity that comes from quick thinking and having an edge over my opponent by always thinking, next play. 

In the off season, I have really been working to improve my speed and quickness on defense, ball handling and my shot from the 3-point range. I am very disciplined and work daily to improve my game by tracking, recording and journaling my workouts in order to measure improvement. 

My overall understanding of the game has been a huge improvement as I have been given the role of being a leader and playing all 5 positions. Being an underclassman and being as confident in myself as my teammate are in me has helped me grow and see who I am becoming as an athlete and person.  I have chosen to embrace the role and see this as one of my greatest strengths. 

I am here to explore my options and to see where I will fit in and be able to play an important role in a successful basketball program at the next level.
