My Parents always encouraged me to do my best in what ever I do. When i wasn't they were always there telling me I can do better. they gave me the push I needed to be where I am now, and I am glad they did. I became interested in basketball when I was in middle school. Although I didn't make the school team, i became discouraged, but my dad had convinced me to join the city teams.
I have learned how to be responsible, commit, and have good communication skills. Basketball isn't a one person sport everyone has to corporate with each other. You have to hold both yourself and your teammates responsible. My academic goals for high school is to be on an upward trend getting better every year. For college I want to excel in my major, I don't want to be decent, I strive to be better everyday. I believe I have the work-ethic to be a great Student-Athlete. I used to struggle in school, playing sports made me want to succeed, so I could participate in practices, and games. I am a student-athlete, I play 3 sports at my school. I have been playing 3 seasons every years since i have came into high school.
