Kierstin Einhiple '25 Recruiting Profile

My main goal is and will always be to play basketball in college, while gaining a great education for my future. My passion to play basketball and also to further my education in school is a very important asset to who I am. I strive to succeed in everything I can from one drill to an intense game situation. Basketball has become one of the most important things to me because it's where I can express who I am and where I feel most like myself. When I step on the court, I feel as if all my fears are gone and nothing can bother me anymore. My biggest strength when playing basketball is that I am able to take any new skill that is shown to me and comprehend it for use in a game. My coaches have said repeatedly that I am a coachable player and that I take how I play with pride and prove that I deserve to play basketball at a higher level.

Additionally, one of my biggest assets to the team is that I am versatile to the need and can play any position necessary for the team to succeed. If it's from point guard to center, I can fill that position and strive to be my best even if it's not my regular position. I also feel that being a tri-sport athlete makes me different from other recruits because balancing three sports, a full academic AP workload and a part time job can be a difficult thing from late practices to piles of homework and tests; however, I still complete it all on time with great results. From high school to club teams for basketball, soccer and softball, they all take a lot of effort and motivation to participate in and do your best in. Basketball and other athletics have always been a major part of my life and I am excited for the opportunity I have to take my athletic career to the next level.
