My love of basketball came at an early age for me when my parents signed me up for a basketball camp when I was five years old. Most of my family played basketball when they were younger which helped me learn the game at such an early age. Ever since my first basketball camp, I have loved the sport and couldn’t imagine not playing. Through basketball, I have learned that you cannot give up when something gets hard and you need to push through the difficult times to be better. One thing I struggle with is being too hard on myself. I have learned to not get down on myself when I make a mistake, but instead to keep going and be positive. Every team I have played on I have become very close with my teammates; so much so that I consider them family, even though we have ended up on opposing teams as we have gotten older. I am an easy person to get along with, love laughing and hanging out with my friends. My goal is to keep improving my game so that I can continue to play the game I love, while getting my college degree. I look forward to playing at the next level with a new set of teammates.
