I first became interested in basketball at the age of 7 as I watched my older sister and her basketball journey. I started by just dribbling the ball downstairs in my house. My sister’ s journey involved AAU travel, several City, District, Regional and a State Championship and finally College. I decided that I wanted to do what she did but accomplish even more. I was on my way to my first run at a State Championship as a freshman this year but unfortunately due to the Coronavirus it was cancelled. I’m developing my skill set to be able to play at the college level with my personal training and the extra time I put in on the court, such as getting up at 5 in the morning for early morning workouts before heading to school.
My academic goals throughout my remaining 3 years of high school are to maintain a 3.5 GPA or higher and get a 4.0 at least twice. My college goal is to graduate with a degree. I have not yet decided what I will study.
