Katie Tarquinio '27 Recruiting Profile

I love basketball! I was inspired to play at a very young age by watching my older brothers and took up the game myself in Kindergarten. Since then, I’ve dedicated myself to honing my skills on the court. I push myself to excel in every aspect of the game whether it be shooting and scoring, securing rebounds, playing defense or providing assists, yet the success of my team is more important to me than any of my personal achievements. 

I have attended Catholic school all my life, which I credit with providing me with the strong values, discipline and commitment that have helped me keep my focus on achieving my goal of playing basketball in college. While I play basketball year-round, I also play Varsity Volleyball and maintain a 3.9 GPA. My other interests include sketching, painting, reading and singing, and I plan to pursue a degree in Liberal Arts.
