Karlee Cronk '24 Recruiting Profile

Thank you for looking at my profile.  I am currently a high school Senior at a 5A school in West Texas.  My academics and athletics are both important to me. I am number 7 out of 472 with an overall gpa of 103.889. I plan to major in chemistry and plan on entering the medical field.
Prior to my junior year, I was a three sport athlete but have dropped down to basketball and throwing discus.  I would love to continue my basketball career at the next level as I believe I could be an asset to any program.  I am a well rounded player who has a strong basketball IQ, great court awareness, along with great body control and a fierce competitive edge.  I have been playing basketball since I was 6 years old. I played guard with AAU until 8th grade and then transitioned into the post or power positions for school teams. As a 5’9” post I am undersized, but what I lack in height I make up for with effort and determination.
The school team that I currently play with is geared around the three point shot and the quick guards, which in turn makes my role of being a strong rebounder even more important.  I took my role as a junior seriously; coming off the bench with an average of 12 minutes per game, I am the leading rebounder.  I also lead the team in charges taken and second on the team in blocks, deflections and steals. Through the first half of district, my senior year, I lead the team in rebounds, blocks, charges taken and even assists.
