I've been competitive ever since I was little and sports always brought together the family. My younger brother and I would spend our days creatively finding any way to compete with each other, even if that meant tossing around a water bottle when we didn't have a ball. Growing up with divorced parents isn't something I'm shy about. I embrace difficulties because they shape me to become the person I am today. I'm not afraid of any challenge, knowing they present an opportunity for self-improvement. I'm just as competitive academically as physically with an academic all-district streak to my credit. My goals surround building myself as a person and the people around me, including my teammates. I see college as a chance to create everlasting memories and construct a strong foundation so one day I can provide for the very people that did everything for me back at home.
I first picked up a basketball in the 6th grade and participated in AAU after the 8th grade. I LOVE IT! My highest personal basketball goal in my senior year at Magnolia West High School is to to collect 12 (my jersey #!) performance points each quarter (points+rebounds+assists+steals minus turnovers). My ultimate basketball goal in college is to work my very best to win a conference title for Feather River College and create history at this school. Moving on to play at a higher level and do the same thing for that school as well!! Key Basketball Honors and Statistics
